New York City's first fully-operational winery and tasting room, City Winery, at 155 Verick Street in SoHo, offers up a chic main restaurant/event space, which can be booked for weddings (even if you can't afford the membership fee required to craft your very own bottles of vino--private barrel ownership starts at $5,000).
The open, loft-like space has a raw, industrial feel and accommodates up to 200 people seated, with a stage and state-of-the-art sound system. A full catering kitchen is on-site, and the in-house executive chef will work with you to create a mouthwatering seasonal menu to compliment the wines chosen for your event. There's also several smaller spaces, too, like the Private Cellar Dining Room and the VIP Lounge, that would make great spots for a rehearsal dinner or engagement party.—Lauren Matthews, editor, Brides New York
