Turkey-feather bridesmaid dresses?

Courtesy of Life.com
When you sit down for Thanksgiving dinner, try to set aside your feelings about the long planes-trains-and-automobiles trek, the overbearing in-laws, the uncle who always drinks way too much, and the lumpy gravy and just be thankful. Remember: Things could be worse. You could have been a member of the wedding party of one turkey-obsessed bride who made all the bridesmaids' dresses out of dyed turkey feathers. Not content to stop there, this bride also made her wedding gown out of 34,000 white feathers. It's true, and you can see the photographic proof of the 1947 event at www.life.com. —Jackie, BRIDES Magazine

Wow, this girl was obsessed with turkeys! Even her veil and bouquet had feathers! And, of course, turkey for dinner, lol! Well, you can't mock a girl for having her own sense of fashion, I guess!
