Brides are Talking
What will you do with your wedding dress after the big day?

This week in our Brides.com Forums brides talks about their plans for the wedding dress after they say "I do". See what our brides have to say here:
Some brides do not plan to use the dress after the wedding day. "I'm all for the traditional, wear once wedding dress that is unique and stands out! There's nothing wrong with wearing something special only once. If you wore it every day, it wouldn't be as special," says FutureMrsDJLeo.
Other brides like the idea of buying an inexpensive dress that can be worn again. "The other option I have thought about is buying a dress that is kind of boho chic and then altering it to knee length once I am done," says BrighterThanSunshine. "I would probably wear it out to celebrate my anniversary and maybe even other events."
And some brides like the idea of donating the dress after the wedding. "My other thought is to donate the dress to a bride that's less fortunate, so that maybe my (somewhat) expensive dress can help make someone else's day a really special one too," says Dodgercpkl.

I have a dress that I would love to wear out for anniversaries, etc. No "trash the dress" for me, although I do love the new trend. I've seen wonderful pictures come from "trash the dress" photo sessions!
The idea is to wear the dress and to take pictures in completely odd (often dirty) scenarios to produce artsy images without caring so much about what happens to the dress....
