Runway Review
Elegant bridesmaid looks from Simple Silhouettes

Simple Silhouettes created eight new bridesmaid dresses for their Spring 2010 collection. The designs range from classic strapless dresses to one-shoulder necklines—which seems to be the hot new look on both the red carpet and on bridal runways. Designer Christina Dalle Pezze told us that navy has been a popular color brides have been asking for lately and that for 2010 grey seems to be gaining momentum.
In addition to their new bridesmaid collection we saw several pieces from their separates line. The three-quarter length jacket seen here (style name: Hibiscus) was paired with a strapless dress and is in made in ivory shantung mikado. The separates line includes several coat and jacket options that are quite stylish and perfect for 'maids and moms or pre- and post-wedding events for the bride.

We also got a sneak peek at the new Simple Silhouettes ready-to-wear line launching in early 2010 at both Simple Silhouettes NYC location and online. The line consists of their classic dress designs in several very pretty fabrics. Great for both work and play. —Anne Chertoff
