NY Bridal Market: Alvina Valenta's glamour girls

With mellow tunes in the air, the look at Alvina Valenta was progressive princess, as the skirts (some big, some not so much) showcased fab details. My faves: A tulle strapless style scattered with barely-there jeweled flowers and a duchess satin frock with a fantastic side swept pick-up train. For brides who want old Hollywood glamour (we know you're out there), the designer offered plenty of red carpet-worthy looks. The most compelling: slender satin halter gowns with V-necklines that definitely require a good plunging bra or artfully applied boob tape. —Terrie, BRIDES Magazine
