Florida
A cupcake alternative
Courtesy of Tea Time Cakes
Cupcakes are pretty much a guaranteed crowd-pleaser but if you're looking something a bit more unique, check out the desserts by Miami Beach-based Tea Time Cakes. Former Dolphins cheerleader Jenny Ortiz recently launched her sweets company and creates beautiful fondant-covered confections, including her dome-shaped miniature cakes. The diminutive desserts come adorned with fondant flowers, bows, and embellishments; I think a collection of mini cakes would make a sweet dessert display at your reception. Tea Time Cakes also offers more traditional tiered wedding cakes, too. —Heather Lee, Editor, Brides Florida
