Wedding photos from Milan

When most people dream about getting married in Italy, the dream doesn't normally include the soundtrack (or mess) of pigeons. Standing in front of the Duomo in Milan's central square, I saw not one, but two bridal parties posing for pictures with flocks of pigeons perched on their arms, heads, and yes, even on their clean, white wedding gowns. Talk about trashing the dress! Sure, it's nice to have the cathedral as a backdrop, but how far would you go for an extraordinary wedding photo op? —Jackie, BRIDES Magazine
