The best game of Telephone ever
I was at a Yankee game over the holiday weekend, and some guy decided to propose to his girlfriend on the Jumbotron, and of course the crowd yelled a mix of yeses and no's at them (the screen). Public proposals can be dangerous because if she (or he) says no, the person asking will be upset and embarrassed. We all remember the video of the woman who said no at a basketball game proposal and ran off the court.
This groom was very clever in his asking because he must have told the crowd what he was doing in advance to make sure his proposal came off without a hitch. Take a look - and it's okay to fast forward from about 45 seconds to 2minutes and 40 seconds. —Anne Chertoff
