Goodbye to summer
I just saw a quote that read, "Summer feels endless, until it suddenly ends." So true. Here in NYC over the past week, the weather shifted from sunny and gorgeous to humid and rainy to cool and crisp. It feels like mid-fall right now.
For a lot of you, June, July and August was spent knee-deep in weddings and all the surrounding parties. For others, you may have taken a break from your planning to just relax and enjoy the summer. When I got engaged in early August (six years ago), we gave ourselves the rest of the month to revel in the good news. By the time Labor Day arrived, we were ready to think about the details.
