Tap the Rockies

Love popping open a few cold ones with your girls? Then here's a great idea for your bachelorette festivities: celebrate during the Denver Beer Fest, taking place September 18 through 27. The ten day beer extravaganza includes tastings and beer-inspired meals at local restaurants, brewery tours, beer tappings, and a variety of beer-themed events around the city.
And if traipsing around the city has your feet feeling tired, book the Ritz-Carlton Spa, Denver's Hops n' Honey Pedicure ($105). The 75-minute treatment starts with a scoop of "Hops 'n Honey Me!" bath ice cream dissolved in the foot bath to soften and nourish feet, followed by an exfoliating scrub, a rich caramel foot mask, and a warm paraffin foot dip. Finally, whipped milk and honey lotion is massaged into your feet and legs. The best part: while enjoying your pedicure, you get to sample five local microbrews from Great Divide Brewing Co. —Lauren Matthews, editor, Brides Colorado
