In these dog days of summer, one of the color pairings in our September/October issue looks particularly tempting. Jade green and marine blue—they even sound cool and refreshing! We originally imagined brides using this color pairing for an elegant, black-tie wedding, but the truth is that we can also see these shades working at a more casual party. Add a few dashes of white, and they suddenly look right at home at a beach club. What do you think—are these jewel tones appropriate for a warm-weather wedding? —Sally, BRIDES Magazine

Wow! Love it!!! And as a destination wedding planner in the US Virgin Islands, I think I'm a good authority on what will work. :0) This would look stunning for an "Island Elegant" beachside wedding. A great play on the typical beach wedding color scheme!
