Is Chelsea Clinton getting hitched this weekend?
Rumors have been swirling around the media all summer that Chelsea Clinton will be getting married before the season ends. And specifically that this wedding will take place Sunday, August 30th on Chappaquiddick Island. With the Clinton camp staying mum on the subject all we have to go on is rumors and some interesting coincidences.
Coincidence #1: The bride-to-be's mother, Secretary Clinton returns from her tour of Africa in mid-August.
Coincidence #2: The Obama family decides to vacation in Martha's Vineyard. Of all the places in the world they decide on a location near Chappaquiddick Island.
Coincidence #3: Wedding planner, Marcy Blum, who according to a New York Times article, lists Chelsea Clinton as one of her "dream clients" twittered earlier today that she's shipping items to Nantucket and making ferry reservations.
We'll keep listening for more coincidences and of course if the wedding of Chelsea Clinton to Marc Mezvinsky does take place we'll let you know all the details. —Anne Chertoff
