What do you think of holiday weekend weddings?

With Labor Day weekend around the corner, we started talking about holding weddings on a holiday weekend. Some couples love the idea because they can extend their wedding celebration from one night to several days worth of events. On the other side, your guests may not love the idea because they may have plans of their own on popular three-day weekends. Are you or would you plan your wedding on a holiday weekend?

Personally I think the major holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's and Easter should be out. But holidays like Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc aren't that big a deal, especially if you wanted to get out of town anyway and would be doing so for a wedding. Fun way to work vacation into the wedding weekend for the guests! :)
