Filene's Running of the Brides on Long Island

Grab your bridesmaids, lace up your sneakers, and get ready to make a mad dash for the racks during the first-ever Filene's Basement Running of the Brides event on Long Island. The Manhasset retail location (1400 Northern Boulevard) will open at 8 a.m. on Friday, August 14. There, you'll find more than 1,700 gowns priced from $249 to $699 that ordinarily retail for as much as $9,000. Dresses will be available in a wide array of sizes (from sizes 2 to 26) at 70 to 95 percent off retail prices. Additionally, Sandals Resorts and Air Jamaica will be giving away a free honeymoon to any of their resort locations to a lucky winner.
