Bachelorette Jillian is engaged to Ed
Bachelorette Jillian Harris has found her happy ending. On last night's season finale, she declared her love for Ed Swiderski. "You don't know much I've been wanting to tell you I love you," she said. And it looks like a wedding is also in the works. Ed got down on his knees and proposed with a $60,000 Neil Lane diamond and platinum engagement ring (see a photo after the jump), saying that he wanted to be with her forever so that she could give him "a hard time when we're eighty years old."
No word on the wedding date yet, but I do know that Canadian-based interior designer will be sticking close to her roots for her celebration. "I have this dream wedding of being somewhere in the Canadian Rockies, or in the Okanagan in a field and there are mountains all around us," she told Entertainment Tonight. I think that the classic strapless Cennamo Couture ivory gown Jillian donned on the finale might be a preview of the laidback beauty's wedding-day style: Jillian said that she envisions a "down to earth" celebration with gingham tablecloths and a live band. —Kathryn Papanek
