The Wedding Party
A celebration of love and marriage between burger bites
Gourmet Magazine food writer, Francis Lam, recently attended a good friend's wedding in San Francisco. At the lunchtime hour on the big day, he found himself in need of refueling and took a table at Zuni Cafe, where he and his good friend once shared "the greatest roast chicken" of their lives. Over his hamburger, he reflected on their friendship, her imminent nuptials and the joys of love and life that can sometimes only be rediscovered eating a rich, buttery burger in the California sunshine.
