Kendra Wilkinson's wedding planner: Hank was "like another bride"

As the wedding planner for the Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett's fairytale wedding that look place this past weekend at the Playboy Mansion, Nicole Hirsty of Cobalt Events helped make the bride's dream wedding come to life by creating rose and orchid centerpieces with touches of crystals for a modern look, as well as decorating with white linens, lavender napkins and purple-hued uplighting for a romantic feel.

So is lavender the new hot color for weddings? Nicole seems to think so. "It's just a beautiful soft color, plus it's a little more universal than pink," says Nicole explaining that lavender has more of a masculine touch.

While the groom left the wedding colors and most of the wedding style choices up the bride, he certainly was not left out of the planning process. "He was like another bride," says Nicole. "I probably talked, texted or e-mailed with him on a daily basis. He just really wanted Kendra to have her perfect day. He went to football training a couple months into planning so he would call to be kept in the loop because he wanted to know what was going on." Aww!

As a thank you, Kendra presented Hank with a Transformers-themed groom's cake at their rehearsal dinner (the two attended the premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen earlier in the week). And as a nod to his profession as a football player for the Philadelphia Eagles, football cookies with the couple's monogram were given out as favors.

While we all know that wedding planning can get the best of even the calmest bride, but Nicole says that Kendra never had a bridezilla moment. "She was just the sweetest, easiest bride to work with. Her and Hank were great about everything," she says.

So what can we take away from Kendra's easy-going wedding planning process? "A lot of times brides become indecisive in their planning because they are presented with so many different choices. Kendra picked with what she loved and stuck with her decisions. So many people have so many opinions so I say just go with what you love because the day is about you and your fiance." —Cari Wolfert
