Showers & Parties
A Warm Welcome
One of the best parts about working at Brides Local Magazines is the talented, creative people I get to be surrounded by. Case in point: our executive editor Amy Elliott. Amy's written several books and I recently attended the signing for her latest project, A Warm Welcome, at Abitare in Brooklyn. The book is all about how to be a great hostess, and I bought several copies I'm planning to pair with candles and give as hostess gifts when I visit friends and family this summer. And of course, I'll be keeping a copy (signed by the author herself!) for my own reference. —Leigh Crandall, managing editor, Brides New York.
