Sample sale alert
Carine's Bridal Atelier, one my favorite DC bridal salons, is holding a huge summer sample sale this Sunday at the Westin City Center hotel. The sale starts at 9am (get there early!) and runs until 3pm. Sample gowns from designers like Angel Sanchez, Carolina Herrera, Junko Yoshioka, Karl Lagerfeld, Melissa Sweet, Platinum Collection, Reem Acra, Rosa Clara, St. Pucchi, and Vineyard Collection will be on sale for 30% to 75% off retail prices. Gowns will be priced at $999, $1,299, $1,499, and $1,999—that's major savings! Usually, these sample gowns will be bridal sizes 8 or 10, but they can be tailored to fit smaller sizes if necessary—and Carine's offers alterations at their salon in Georgetown.
