Hair tips
Wondering about how to prep your hair so it looks healthy and gorgeous for your wedding day? I spoke with Rossana Casale of Boston's Salon Mario Russo for some great ideas on how to get beautiful locks.

Mario Russo"If you're scoping out salons in your area to see if they'll be good to do your hair for your wedding, go in for a blow dry," Rossana says... "If a stylist can do a good blow dry, it's a good indication that they can style hair well." Once you've selected your stylist, schedule a trial run for at least six months prior to your wedding day, if you can. That way, if the style you'd like requires you to grow out your hair, you'll have plenty of time to do so.
If you color your hair, talk to your colorist about when the best time to color your hair pre-wedding would be. It's often best to do it about two weeks before your wedding, but it's important to work with your colorist to figure out what would be best for your hair.
If you're looking for extra shiny hair, check out salon treatments like Kerastase. These treatments aren't permanent (they last just a few shampoos), so it's best to do a shine treatment a few days before your wedding if you want the effects to show.
While you might want to shower the morning of your wedding, it's best to wash your hair the day or night before. "It's easier to work with hair that doesn't have a lick of moisture in it," says Rossana. —Kim Forrest, Editor, Brides Boston
