Registry
A benevolent wedding registry

Courtesy of GoodShop
In theory, a wedding registry sounds like great fun; after all, it's the ultimate wish list! But there are so many questions to address: When do you register? How do you determine an appropriate price range? What's the polite way to inform your guests about your registry? And then, of course, a registry can also make some couples feel uncomfortable. Asking for gifts can feel greedy and even rude, especially in such difficult economic times.
Enter Goodshop.com, a new online shopping mall that donates up to 30% of every purchase to one of 79,000 nonprofit organizations. Participating stores include Bloomingdale's, Williams-Sonoma, Macy's, Target and over 1,000 other stores you'll likely want on your registry. All you have to do is select a charity and ask your guests to purchase your wedding gift through Goodshop. The only thing better than getting a pair of beautiful candlesticks, is knowing that their purchase helped support your favorite charity! —Victoria Loustalot
Wedding Wisdom: Keep tabs on your registry; as purchases are made, add more items so that your guests will always have a selection of gifts at different price points to choose from.

URGENT!!! I hope someone that can help reads this. I have written 3 e-mails on Brides.com and have not received any responses. My bridal shower is on May 30th and I keep getting phone calls from my guests telling me they cannot access my wedding website!!! My bridesmaids provided my guests with my URL and the password, but no can can get in. My wedding website is not one of the newer ones available on your site, but I doubt that is the issue, since one of my guests was able to access it 2 weeks ago. This is a problem that has recently developed. Taking into consideration the time restraint, PLEASE GET BACK TO ME ASAP. My e-mail address is LatinKiss1@aol.com. Thanks, Noelia (distraught bride!)
