New venue alert: The Portland, Ore., hoteliers have just opened a new Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, just in time for last weekend's Coachella music fest. It's a kitchsy-yet-classy spot that's absolutely perfect for a stylish Southern California wedding. There are outdoor firepits for lounging, a photobooth already set up in the lobby, and the Commune—their huge, 3,000-square-foot event space with walls that open up to a circular pool, an intimate amphitheater, and views of the mountains.
