Modern hair accessories from Aria (and Saran)
The first appointment this morning was bridesmaid dress designer Aria. Their collection of modern designs at affordable prices are right on track with what brides are looking for in stylish looks for their 'maids. In addition to the chic dresses, the hairstyles of the models also caught our eye. After the first two girls took their turn on the catwalk, I leaned over to Michelle Preli, our editor-in-chief, in asked, "Is that headband made of Saran Wrap?" And indeed it was!
Aria designer, Tak Hau, told us that he was looking for a modern accessory for the hairstyles and after having difficulty finding a Lucite accessory, he worked with hairstylist Anthony Joseph Hernandez for CUTLER, to create a clear modern one. The result: Saran Wrap wrapped around each hair 'do like a headband and knotted at the back of the neck. Click here to see our review of the Aria collection.
What do you think? Is Saran Wrap the new wedding 'do? —Anne Chertoff
