Lela Rose (shoes and bags) for Payless

Bridal gown and bridesmaid designer Lela Rose has partnered with Payless to create a line of special occasion designer shoes and handbags under the brand Unforgettable Moments. The collection includes several classic styles as well as new silhouettes offered seasonally that feature the latest trends in shoes and bags. Many of these styles can be dyed in one of 64 colors hand-picked by the designer (see color chart below). In addition to dying bridesmaid shoes the perfect shade to match their dress, there are several styles for girls and two satin styles in white and ivory for brides.
We asked Lela to give Brides.com readers a few style tips to help them get ready for their big day. Here's what she had to say:
How can brides/bridesmaids incorporate their signature style into the big day?
A great way for a bride to incorporate a bridesmaid's personal style is to allow each girl to feel apart of the process. Once the bride chooses her color scheme and the designers she would like to work with, she can then allow each girl to pick the style and shoe that makes her feel the most comfortable. For the bride's style, this is her day to be an enhanced, more glamorous version of her everyday self. Staying true to that philosophy will allow her signature style to easily shine. How can one accessorize with color?
A tonal range of color is a great way to add interest to a bridal party. If you work within a tonal range, the color is not overwhelming and it's a great way to customize. A simple belt or pop color shoe are other great ways to use color as an accessory while also adding a dash of style. How do you pick the right shoe?
Style is the most important detail when choosing a shoe, then height. It's very important that the style of the shoe compliments the look of the dress and the wedding venue. A 4" stiletto may not be the most appropriate shoe for a beach wedding! The dyeable and white and ivory bridal shoes are priced from $45 to $50 and can be purchased at Payless stores across the country or online at unforgettablemoments.com.
