Gone with the wind
We've heard of great romantic proposals as well as proposals gone wrong, but this New York couple was very lucky that their special moment, which was almost ruined, turned out to be a great story they'll share with their kids and grandkids. And they got it on tape.
Watch as one groom risked life and limb by jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge to save the engagement ring he bought for his bride-to-be:
Wedding Wisdom: As soon as your fiance gets the ring—whether from a jeweler or a family member—have it appraised and insured. You never know when a ring might get lost, stolen, a stone may fall out or it gets blown away by the wind.
