Erin Rosenow, owner of Rosenow Floral, is one of our favorite florists—her designs are always so creative and cheerful. So we were amped to discover that she has now branched out into custom boutonnieres with her new side business, Fritts Rosenow.

For dudes that aren't really the flower-y types, Erin's quirky, bespoke boutonnieres are the perfect place for them to express themselves. Erin came up with the idea for her custom line when she created a mini-croquet set boutonniere for a croquet-themed wedding, and the business grew from there.

She's made boutonnieres using dominos, guitar picks, miniature gardening tools, Scrabble chips—even tiny Yoda figurines (look stylish on your wedding day, you will) and other items that she finds at garage sales, flea markets and toy shops. The most unusual boutinniere she has made was a present from an aunt who wanted to tie in the fact that the groom was a lawyer, the bride was a yogi and that the couple had a German Shepherd. "It was a little nuts," she says.

Rosenow Floral is based in San Francisco, but Erin can ship her boutonnieres around the country. Visit her design gallery to see more cool boutonnieres. —Lauren Matthews, editor, Brides Northern California and Kathryn Papanek
