Behind the scenes of The Celebrity Appretice

On last night's episode of The Celebrity Apprentice, the two teams competed against each other to sell 125 wedding dresses. The team that made (raised) the most money would win the challenge. Unlike the non-celebrity version of the show, these contestants can reach out to famous friends and corporations for donations to reach their financial goal.
The men's team reached out to Brides.com the night before the sale for some advice on how to sell a wedding dress, so I showed up at 8am to help them out. When I arrived the place was pretty much an empty warehouse-looking space with racks of dresses. To add to the "red carpet" look the men were going for they ordered red rose runners from The Original Runner Company and placed them on the floor in the center area where brides could look at themselves in the few mirrors they purchased. They also picked up a few dozen pink and red roses and handed them to people as they came in.
Though you didn't see much of me on the show, my handwriting was all over the place because I wrote out the signs labeling racks by size, directions to the dressing room and the cashier.
The sales team from a local bridal salon and I helped brides-to-be try on dresses and we made about 10 sales.
I can tell you that we were told that Dennis' eye was bothering him and the women's team did try and take customers from the men's store to theirs as they portrayed it on the show. And yes, the men's store didn't look as beautiful as the women's—but can you really blame them? When Preston Bailey's truck pulled up, none of them even knew who he was.
It was a long day, but a lot of fun to be there. The photo above is of me helping a bride try on a dress, which she did end up buying. —Anne Chertoff
PS - We had a chance to interview Donald Trump on his experience as a groom and what he's looking forward to as a future father-of-the-bride. Click here to find out what he had to say!
Here are some photos of me with the men's team:
