An Exclusive Look: Monique Lhuillier Platinum Collection
Courtesy of Monique Lhuillier
This design, Arianna, for the Monique Lhuillier Platinum Collection at Bergdorf Goodman is a silk white gown with silk organza floral embroidery layered over a delicate lace drop waist bodice with a full a-line pleated tulle skirt that is accentuated at the waist with a satin embellished sash.
"This is one of my signature silhouettes. This gown is a modern take on the classic Princess look with an exquisitely beaded drop waist bodice and full tulle A-line skirt along with my signature satin beaded sash." —Monique Lhuillier
The designer describes the look and feel of these exclusive designs for the Monique Lhuillier Platinum Collection for Bergdorf Goodman as "quiet opulence with ultra luxurious fabrics and delicate details." Each wedding gown has the "Monique Lhuillier signature fit, sculpted bodices and exquisite details."
How do these designs differ from her collections at salons across the country? "The overall feel has the Monique Lhuillier aesthetic: Embroideries are more intricate and I've modified silhouettes... they are Monique Lhuillier classics with a twist," she says.
