Visions in white
The stars shined bright in wedding white (and other pale hues) last night on the red carpet of the Academy Awards. MSNBC.com compiled this collection of gowns for our viewing pleasure.
From left: Teen queen Miley Cyrus dazzled in a Zuhair Murad gown. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button star Taraji P. Henson looked like she walked right out of the chapel in this tiered Roberto Cavalli gown (get a similar style for $298!) Anne Hathaway wore a glittery, champagne-colored Armani Prive dress. Jessica Biel sported a big, beautiful bow on her Prada gown. Sarah Jessica Parker sparkled in a "barely mint" Dior Haute Couture gown. Classic beauty, and Best Supporting Actress winner, Penelope Cruz donned a vintage Balmain gown. Marisa Tomei carried her pleated satin organza ball gown by Versace with effortless style. —Cari Wolfert
