As you do your online window shopping, it's worth checking in on the Oscar de la Renta Web site. The site has just launched an Outlet section offering discounted prices on a selection of clothing and accessories. In many cases, prices are 60 - 70 percent off original, although on high-ticket items such as dresses, you'll still pay for that work of art. I found the shoe section had the most exciting discounts. A beautiful, black, satin ruffle pump was on sale for $172.50 (originally $575) and an Ikat and suede flat on sale for $148.40 (originally $495).
