Beautiful Baubles: Island Designs by Rachel Walker
When it comes to bridesmaid gifts, jewelry is always a crowd pleaser. One of my favorite Virginia-based designers is Rachel Walker of Island Designs. Having grown up on St. Thomas, her jewelry is influenced by the exotic colors and materials (think pearls, shells, and sea glass) of the Caribbean. Every piece is custom made by hand, making it easy to give each of your girls jewelry specific to their tastes. Her designs are also a great way to add a pop of color to bridesmaid outfits—I love the sienna-colored, double strand necklaces of Carnelian stones Rachel created for the ladies in this photo. Best of all, her pieces are totally affordable...

Blue Lace Agate necklace with pearls

Blue crystal sterling silver chandelier earrings

Black spotted Carnelian stone necklace
