Nantucket Part 2: Cisco Brewery

For the second installment of wedding spots I scoped out but didn't end up booking for my own wedding, I wanted to highlight Cisco Brewery on Nantucket. Now, I realize the idea of printing the word "brewery" on your invitations may not immediately connote a classy affair, but anyone who has visited this special place can understand what a fun, festive, and nice summer reception you might hold here. The cobblestone courtyard, pretty garden areas, and quaint wooden tasting rooms offer a laid-back, quintessentially Nantucket vibe. Tent the courtyard to dress up the space--for an estimate of rental costs check in with Sperry Tents of Nantucket. Parties begin once the brewery has closed to the public (around 6pm) and go until 10pm. And naturally your guests will enjoy fantastic, locally brewed beer (the Whale's Tale Pale Ale is a must for any suds lover). —Leigh Crandall, Managing Editor, Brides.com Magazines
