Boston
My dear alma mater

Courtesy of Posh Peacock
Posh Peacock, a Boston-based invitation company, creates beautiful custom invitations, as well as designs you can customize yourself and buy right off its website. One of Posh Peacock's custom designs caught my eye: this invitation, created for a couple who met and were marrying at Williams College (my alma mater!). The invite has a classic, collegiate feel that works well for Williams's New England location—and of course, a purple color scheme that matches our school colors. Go Ephs! Wedding Wisdom: If you met and/or are getting married at a college or university, it's nice to include a shout-out to your school in your invitation or paper suite. But instead of featuring a giant photo of a wildcat or a bear, keep it subtle, just using a color or two from your school colors.
