Skin tested, product approved!
Last week I had the amazing opportunity to fly out to Grand Rapids, Michigan where skin care and cosmetic company Artistry taught me, and several other beauty editors, about the science behind skin care. And wow, there was a lot to learn!
We started out getting simple tests that measured the moisture and elasticity of our skin. Then we headed off to the research and development lab where we had up close (and scary!) photos taken of our skin to show the start of sun damage, pigmentation and wrinkles...
While scientists were processing our results and creating a skin care regimen for us, we took an exclusive tour of the factory where the products are made and shipped worldwide. We even had the opportunity to make our own products like this lipstick (above) that we named Rustic Red and a moisturizing cream with SPF (because that is, of course, the most important product to wear).
After analyzing our results the Artistry scientists met with us tell us the outcome of our skin tests and what products we should use on our skin. For me, they suggested the Balancing Skin Care System to use twice a day every day, as well as the Pore Cleansing Masque once a week.
Then, we were treated to facials and tried out some Artistry cosmetics (I loved their Absolute Oil Control Foundation) before taking off on the company's private jet back to New York!

I have used Artistry products for several years now and it has done wonders for my skin!! The quality is simply unparalleled and I recommend these products to every bride. You can find the entire Artistry line at http://abezmalinovich.qhealthbeauty.com/
my fiance & myself have found this website. We figured to try something diferent as for our gifts to our friends and families. At our wedding we had the help of this company called efragrances.net. We basically picked out a few scents, they sent everything to us already wrapped up! it was great, they also gave us a kick ass deal on prices. Just an idea to be put out there ladies & gents. Once again. Thank you efragrances.net for all your hard work and help!

Ugh. Amway products? No thanks. At least be up front and tell your readers that the Artistry makeup you're supporting is from Amway so they can decide for themselves if they'd like to support a corrupt company on their big day.
I've been using Artistry and absolutely love it! My skin looks great and my confidence is boosted. If a product works, why not use it? If we were so concerned about where a product came from or how it's made, we'd probably not use 90% of the products out there. Thanks Brides.com for sharing some of the science behind this brand. I've personally heard good things about the manufacturer Amway (like they just sponsored Tina Turner's concert tour and also own Laura Mercier cosmetics) so I trust that Artistry is good quality (and affordable too!). But hey, perception is reality, guess it's a matter of opinion. And just checked the bottle - made in good ole USA which means this company is keeping some hard working Americans afloat during these tough economic times.
