Wine tasting cocktail hour

Courtesy of Affordable Wine Tastings
Wine tasting is a hot topic these days, and I love the idea of hosting an 'educational' wine tasting cocktail hour as a way to help give guests who may not know each other something to talk about. Affordable Wine Tastings in Arvada, CO can transform a post-ceremony cocktail hour into a casual, fun seminar on sampling and choosing wines. The way it works: Scott Casto, the company's wine director, works one-on-one with you to create a tasting menu of wines. He and his staff can then come to you reception with wine and stemware and talk to your guests about the wines selected.—Lauren Matthews, associate editor, Brides Local magazines
Wedding Wisdom:Whether it's wine, cheese, chocolate, or something else entirely, ask your caterer if they can set up a tasting of you and your grooms' favorite foods at your wedding.
