My take on accessories

Courtesy of Vera Wang
For me, wedding accessories have to be fashion accessories as well. Everything, from your veil to your bouquet should be carefully designed and edited. Nothing detracts from a splendid gown like the wrong accessories.
The wedding veil
There is nothing quite as transformational as a bridal veil. Other than the wedding ring, it is perhaps the most symbolic accessory a woman will ever wear. The choice of the veil depends upon many considerations, such as the bride's features and facial structure, her height frame and hairstyle, the style of the gown, the location, the weather, particularly the wind factor...Lingerie
Even underwear takes on a whole new meaning on your wedding day. Although it won't be visible, it's a wonderful, feminine part of the wedding ritual of getting dressed. Make sure to fit the gown with the same foundation garments each time.Shoes
Purchase the shoes after selecting the wedding gown but prior to the first fitting. Always consider the comfort factor, especially regarding toe shape and heel height.Fragrance
Of all the accessories a woman can wear, fragrance on her wedding day is probably the most intriguing and intimate. Wear a fragrance you love on the day of your wedding. For the rest of your life, the scent will remind you of the happiness of that day.Jewelry
Where jewelry is concerned, less is usually better and infinitely more modern. While a few of my clients have based their entire wedding look on an important piece of jewelry, such as a necklace or tiara, for the vast majority of brides, a delicate pair of earrings, a string of pearls, a simple pendant or an elegant bracelet always works best. And my final tip: Be true to your own style. If you normally dress conservatively, your wedding is not the time to try something risque. The most important thing is wear something that makes you feel beautiful.
